PHOENIX, AZ (February 9, 2023) – Phoenix police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 7th Street on February 7.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Polk Street around 4:30 AM. Based on a report, the man was on the roadway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, multiple vehicles struck him. Officers said one of the vehicles left the scene while another stayed and had heavy damage to the windshield and front end.
 
As a result, emergency crews said the victim died at a hospital after suffering grave injuries. Officials did not yet release his name, pending notification of next of kin.
