TUCSON, AZ (February 9, 2023) – Tucson police confirmed that one person died in a rear-end crash on 10 Freeway on February 7.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 19 Freeway shortly after 1:00 AM. Based on a report, the driver was driving a vehicle eastbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the victim rear-ended a commercial vehicle.
 
As a result, the victim died due to grave injuries. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
