Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 180 in St Johns

 
ST JOHNS, AZ (March 10, 2023) – Police confirmed that three people died in a head-on crash on Highway 180 on March 7.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at milepost 353 shortly after 5:00 PM. Based on a report, a sedan was traveling eastbound on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it crossed the center line and hit another car head-on.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced both drivers of the vehicles dead at the scene. In addition, a passenger from the eastbound sedan later died at an area hospital. DPS did not yet release the victims’ names, pending notification of their families.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
