Fatal Single Car Rollover Crash on Highway 395 in Gardnerville

 
GARDNERVILLE, NV (March 10, 2023) – Douglas County deputies confirmed that one person died in a rollover on Highway 395 on March 6.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 4:00 PM. Based on a report, a white sedan was traveling north on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it went off the north side of the road, where it rolled over and collided with a power pole.
 
As a result, one person in the vehicle died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
East Fork medics responded and transported another person to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
 
A dog at the scene was taken by Douglas County Animal Control.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
