Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Culebra Road in San Antonio

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 7, 2024) – The San Antonio Police Department confirmed that one person died in an accident in the 10500 block of Culebra Road on April 26.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened around 11:51 AM. Based on a report, the woman was driving a white 2014 Toyota Corolla westbound on the road before the crash.
 
When she attempted to drive left on a yellow turn arrow, she crashed into an eastbound black 2022 Honda Accord. Police said the Honda Accord had the right of way.
 
As a result, the woman sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to a nearby hospital, where she later died. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
Police said the Honda Accord driver had minor injuries. Crews also rushed the victim to the hospital as a precaution.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
