One Killed in Aurora Car Crash on Airport Boulevard

 
AURORA, CO (May 7, 2024) – The Aurora Police Department confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Airport Boulevard on April 26.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at 22nd Avenue around 9:30 PM. Based on a report, four vehicles collided in the lanes. It was not clear what led to the pile-up.
 
As a result, one person suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews took one person to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Crews also closed Airport Boulevard for nearly four hours while police investigated the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
