Sabria Lacey, Anthony Lisbon, DeAvion Aubert, Robert Gowans Jr. Identified in Dallas Stolen Car Crash
DALLAS, TX (February 6, 2024) – The Dallas Medical Examiner identified 21-year-old Sabria Lacey, 21-year-old Anthony Lisbon, 22-year-old DeAvion Aubert and 21-year-old Robert Gowans Jr. who died in a crash on 35 Freeway on February 1.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Woodall Rodgers Parkway shortly before 2:00 AM. Based on a report, Irving police initiated a chase when they spotted a stolen car and the driver refused to pull over.
During the chase, the driver lost control of the car at the ramp to Woodall Rodgers Parkway. It then hit the guardrail before falling onto the road below the road. In the end, it caught fire in the crash.
As a result, the victims who were all occupants of the stolen car died in the incident.
A Dallas County sheriff’s deputy was also injured when a light pole fell onto his car.
As of now, Irving police and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crash.
