LAS VEGAS, NV (May 9, 2024) – The Las Vegas Police Department arrested 72-year-old David Degood in a DUI crash on South Eastern Avenue on April 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at East Wigwam Avenue around 10:50 AM. Based on a report, Degood was driving a 2020 Toyota Sienna at the time of the crash.
 
He was exiting a private drive onto Eastern Avenue when he failed to yield to the right of way and crashed into a motorcycle.
 
As a result, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
 
Police said Degood showed signs of impairment and was arrested on DUI-related charges.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
