PUYALLUP, WA (October 4, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of a man following a hit-and-run accident on Valley Avenue on September 30.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near Highway 167 around 8:10 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking on the side of the road prior to the crash. Subsequently, Pierce County deputies said a vehicle struck him and left the scene afterwards.
 
As a result, the man died in the incident. Officials only identified him as a 30-year-old man.
