Lauren Bonvillian and Savannah Bagley Die after Car Crash in Axtell

 
AXTELL, TX (April 26, 2024) — A mother, 33-year-old Lauren Bonvillian, and her young daughter died in an accident on Monday, April 15.
 
Robinson Police originally notified the public about a missing mother and daughter. They identified them as Bonvillian and her daughter, 4-year-old Savannah Bagley.
 
Reports said their family last saw Bonvillian and Savannah at around 10:00 p.m. on Sunday. They were in their blue 2020 Toyota Corolla, traveling from Corsicana, Texas, to Robinson, Texas.
 
When the two never made it home, their family looked for them. After that, they filed missing person reports.
 
Late Monday night, authorities confirmed the two died in a car accident in Hill County, Texas.
 
On Tuesday, the Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed the Toyota Corolla they were traveling crashed on Highway 31 near County Line Road. An investigation determined the Toyota Corolla moved westbound, left the roadway, and then rolled over.
 
The mother and daughter died at the scene of the accident.
 
Authorities said they found the car wrecked in a pond.
 
The family created a GoFundMe to help with the funeral expenses.
