RENTON, WA (April 29, 2024) – Troopers confirmed that three people suffered injuries in a wrong-way crash on 405 Freeway on April 12.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 30th Street. Based on a report, a vehicle going the wrong way on 405 Freeway crashed with another vehicle.
 
Subsequently, the vehicles caught on fire in the incident. As a result, three people suffered minor injuries.
 
Police took the wrong-way driver into custody for suspected impairment.
 
Crews closed the roadways with two tow trucks heading to the scene.
