Bicyclist David Hundley Struck, Killed by Speeding Driver in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (May 11, 2023) – Houston Police identified 67-year-old David Hundley in a fatal bicycle accident on Beechnut Street on May 7.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Braewick Drive around 9:00 PM. Based on a report, Hundley was crossing the street with his nephew, Anthony Sinopoli at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a tow truck heading east on Beechnut Street struck him.
 
As a result, Hundley suffered severe injuries and died in the incident.
 
Houston police said speed played a factor in the crash.
