Ashton Strong Detained for DUI after Shasta Lake Car Crash

 
SHASTA LAKE, CA (March 24, 2023) – Shasta County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 32-year-old Ashton Marie Strong after a rollover crash on Ashby Road on March 20.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Fort Peck Street around 2:19 PM.
 
Based on a report, Strong was driving a UTV-style vehicle when it overturned on the road. Deputies responded and rescued her and her juvenile passenger.
 
As a result, the juvenile suffered an injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
 
In addition, deputies said Strong displayed signs of being drunk. Subsequently, they booked her into the Shasta County Jail for DUI causing great bodily injury, and child endangerment likely to cause great bodily injury or death.
 
An investigation into the case is ongoing.
