Mallory Shaw Identified in Fatal Car Crash in Milam County

 
MILAM COUNTY, TX (March 24, 2023) – Officials identified 22-year-old Mallory Regina Shaw as the victim who died in a crash on FM 485 on March 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened about 4.3 miles East of Yarrelton around 6:30 AM.
 
Based on a report, a 2016 Chevrolet 2500 pickup towing a trailer was traveling westbound on the road prior to the crash. At the same time, a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage passenger car was traveling eastbound. Shaw was in the front passenger seat.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the Chevrolet attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone on a hill crest. Subsequently, the pickup collided head-on with the victim’s car.
 
As a result, Shaw died at the scene.
 
As of now, the investigation into the crash remains active and ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
