Kevin Williams Arrested for DUI in Phelan Hit-and-Run on Wagon Train Road

 
PHELAN, CA (January 26, 2023) – Officers arrested 33-year-old Kevin Williams of Victorville after crashing into Chevron and hitting a pedestrian on Wagon Train Road on January 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near 15 Freeway around 10:08 PM.
 
Based on a report, the suspect was driving a 2021 Ford Explorer when he drove it into the front of the business. Subsequently, he struck a juvenile victim and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
 
During an area check, deputies located the suspect vehicle on the northbound shoulder of the freeway. Officials said Williams displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
