Kevin Robles Killed after Dump Truck Accident on Highway 16 near Highway 211

 
HELOTES, TX (April 29, 2024) — A 35-year-old man identified as Kevin Robles died in a dump truck accident on Tuesday, April 16.
 
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, just before 7:30 a.m., a dump truck moving north on Highway 16 lost control. After that, it crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Robles.
 
An initial investigation report said the accident happened when the truck attempted to turn left to Highway 211. However, investigators at the scene said they believe the two trucks crashed only a few feet from where they landed, on Highway 16, south of Highway 211.
 
Robles died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, officials removed the driver of the dump truck. Then they brought him to the hospital with a head injury.
 
An investigator at the scene refused to say which driver was at fault.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
