82-Year-Old Geraldine McAndrew Identified in Fatal Tucson Car Crash

 
TUCSON, AZ (April 29, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department identified 82-year-old Geraldine E. McAndrew who died in a crash on North Oracle Road on April 17.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at West River Road. Based on a report, McAndrews was driving a 2005 Ford Escape SUV south on Oracle Road before the crash.
 
As she was attempting to turn left onto West Genematas Drive, she was struck by a BMW going north.
 
As a result, McAndrew suffered grave injuries in the crash. Crews transported her to Banner University Medical Center, where she later died.
 
Crews also took the driver of the BMW, a 49-year-old male, to the hospital with minor injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
