Shaunamane Roberts and Bobby Sierra Detained after Phoenix Pedestrian Accident

 
PHOENIX, AZ (January 26, 2023) – Phoenix police arrested Bobby Sierra and Shaunamane Roberts following a hit-and-run on 16th Street on January 14.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Broadway Road around 2:00 AM. Based on a report, officers were in the intersection when they saw Sierra and Roberts in a car speeding near 16th Street.
 
When they tried to stop the vehicle, it hit a person trying to cross the street in the area. The car sped away from the scene, leading officers on a pursuit. Subsequently, the vehicle crashed and hit a tree near 8th Street.
 
As a result, officers arrested both Sierra and Roberts.
 
Police said they did not find the victim in the area. As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
