Woman Dies After Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 43 and Kent Avenue

 
KINGS COUNTY, CA (December 1, 2022) — A woman died following a car crash on Highway 43 and Kent Avenue early Tuesday morning, November 29.

The fatal collision occurred at around 2:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a vehicle, driven by a 47-year-old woman, came into the path of an oncoming semi-truck at the intersection. The force of impact sent the woman’s vehicle off the roadway.

Respondents rendered aid and rushed the unidentified woman to a hospital in Visalia, where she later died.

The cause of the crash and the circumstances behind it remain under investigation. Officials are also in the process of determining the factors that contributed to the incident.
