Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Black Bart Avenue and Hank Monk Avenue

 
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (August 18, 2022) – A 47-year-old man died following an incident of motorcycle crash on Black Bart Avenue and Hank Monk Avenue on Tuesday, July 19.

According to the preliminary investigations of the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident which happened around 6:48 a.m. involved a 2009 Yamaha and a 2016 Toyota.

Reports revealed that a 47-year-old man, who was driving the Yamaha, drove north on Black Bart Avenue. Meanwhile, the 40-year-old driver of the Toyota turned left onto Black Bart Avenue from Hank Monk Avenue. This is when the motorcycle collided into the vehicle, causing the deadly accident.

Medical personnel took the motorcyclist to Barton Memorial Hospital but he died later on.

The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries and has received treatment at the same hospital, police said.

No further details are available as the accident still remains under investigation.
