Lavonne Mullin Hurt, Cole Paulson Arrested in Nevada City DUI Crash

 
NEVADA CITY, CA (August 18, 2022) – 67-year-old Lavonne Mullin suffered injuries following an incident of DUI crash on Highway 49 on Tuesday morning, July 19.

According to California Highway Patrol’s Officer Jason Bice, the accident took place at the south of Old Downieville Highway.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a car driven by 40-year-old Cole Paulson lost control and entered the oncoming lane. Then, it swept the side of the pickup that Mullin was driving, causing it to overturn.

Both Mullin and Paulson suffered minor injuries, police confirmed.

Authorities stated that Paulson was observed to be groggy when the accident happened. Officials arrested him on the count of DUI with relation to causing injuries on the victim.
