Driver Runs Red Light at Broadway and Manchester Avenue, Two Uninvolved Victims Killed in Police Chase

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (September 7, 2022) – Two people died and one suffered injuries after a police chase lead to a crash on Broadway and Manchester Avenue on Friday, August 19.

Authorities said that a driver was speeding while heading westbound on Manchester Avenue. Police tried to pull the car over but the driver continued driving until it failed to stop at a red light at Broadway.

The car hit three vehicles, one of which had a male and female passenger inside. Both died at the scene.

The suspect was reported to have suffered minor injuries and is in a stable condition, police said. Later on, officials confirmed that they were two involved suspects in the fatal accident were caught and arrested.

No further information is available at this time. However, police are conducting an additional investigation at this time.
