Tim Vopalensky Involved in DUI Crash on 90 Freeway in Spokane

 
SPOKANE, WA (March 14, 2024) – Officers arrested 43-year-old Tim Vopalensky following a multi-vehicle crash on 90 Freeway on March 5.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 8:30 AM. Based on a report, Vopalensky and two other drivers were traveling westbound on the freeway before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the suspect swerved in and out of lanes and struck the two other cars. Police said Vopalensky fled the scene after the incident.
 
As a result, one victim was hurt in the crash. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
The crash also closed one lane, which caused a significant traffic delay.
 
Authorities were able to locate and arrest Vopalensky with DUI and felony hit and run.
