SAN DIEGO, CA (March 2, 2023) – 38-year-old Joseph Michael Jorge Jacoby died in a pedestrian accident on Pacific Highway on February 14.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal accident happened around 6:52 p.m. in the 4800 block of Pacific Highway.

Based on reports, Jacoby was walking in the street when an oncoming vehicle heading north struck him.

Due to the impact, Jacoby suffered fatal injuries. Responders preformed life-saving measures but were unable to save him.

The driver notified the authorities and cooperated throughout the investigation. There are no reports of arrests at this time.
