Two People Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Crash near Vista Hills Boulevard
ROUND ROCK, TX (October 6, 2022) – A man died while a woman suffered injuries after a motorcycle crash on Farm-to-Market 14431 on Sunday.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says 52-year-old Jimmy Thompson was killed in the accident.
The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a fatal crash on Farm-to-Market 1431 at Vista Hills Boulevard around 6:00 p.m.
According to the initial investigation, a deer played a role in the crash. Authorities are now trying to find out whether the motorcycle lost balance to avoid the animal or crashed into it.
DPS confirmed that Thompson died at the scene.
A female passenger sustained injuries. Authorities later sent her to hospital. However, they did not release the state of her condition.
This case will be under further investigation.
