1 Dead, 5 Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Jacksboro Highway

 
FORT WORTH, TX (March 7, 2025) — One person died and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Jacksboro Highway on March 2.
 
According to Forth Worth Police, officers responded around 5:40 p.m. to the 2000 block of Jacksboro Highway.
 
Forth Worth Police said they received reports of a major accident involving several vehicles and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers found multiple vehicles at the scene.
 
Emergency crews transported one individual to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once they notify their family.
 
MedStar officials confirmed that five additional people sustained injuries during the crash. The extent of their injuries were not immediately available.
 
Authorities have not yet disclosed what caused the collision. There are no reports of whether speed or impairment played a role.
 
Police said the investigation remains active.
