Tanisha Crawford Arrested for Hit-and-Run in Waco
WACO, TX (November 3, 2022) – Police confirmed that 23-year-old Tanisha Crawford turned herself in after hitting a man in a wheelchair on 18th Street on October 31.
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened near Waco Drive around 8:44 PM.
Based on a report, Crawford was driving a white 4-door Chrysler 200 type vehicle prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she struck a 50-year-old man in a wheelchair.
Crawford ran from the scene after the incident.
As a result, the Waco Police Department said the man suffered major injuries. Subsequently, crews transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
Later on, investigators said Crawford turned herself in to face charges of causing an accident involving serious bodily injury or death. Her bond is set at $5,000.
