Man Killed, Woman Injured in T-Bone Crash on Highway 243 at Highway 26 in Vantage

 
VANTAGE, WA (May 15, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a man died in a T-bone car crash on Highway 243 on May 10.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 26. Based on a report, the victim and a woman were in a car traveling northbound on Highway 243 near the intersection prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, another car was heading east on Highway 26. Due to unknown reasons, the victim’s vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign. Subsequently, the second car T-boned them on the driver’s side.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Emergency crews transported his female companion to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for her injuries. The other driver was not hurt.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
