PALMDALE, CA (May 15, 2023) – Officers identified 79-year-old Karin James as the one who died in a pedestrian accident on Euclid Avenue on May 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just south of Pine Avenue around 8:23 PM. Based on a report, James was walking on Euclid at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle driving southbound struck her. As a result, officers found and pronounced James dead at the scene.
 
The driver called police and stayed at the scene.
