19-Year-Old Miguel Orozco Arrested after Hitting 15-Year-Old Cyclist in El Paso

 
EL PASO, TX (August 31, 2023) – El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 19-year-old Miguel Angel Orozco following an accident in the 12900 block of Jobe Road on August 15.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near the East Montana Middle School. Based on a report, Orozco was driving his truck at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, he hit a 15-year-old teenager who was riding a bicycle on the road.
 
As a result, the teen cyclist minor injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
 
Orozco was charged with aggravated assault and taken to the El Paso County Jail.
