Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Suspected DUI Driver on 35th Avenue in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (April 11, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a suspected DUI pedestrian accident on 35th Avenue on April 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thomas Road. Based on a report, the man was crossing the street in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown circumstances, a truck hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to the hospital, where he later died.
 
Officers said noted signs of drug use on the driver of the vehicle.
