Man Struck and Killed by Car in Walmart Parking Lot in Loveland

 
LOVELAND, CO (April 11, 2023) – The Larimer County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a Walmart employee died in a pedestrian accident inside the store’s parking lot on West 65th Street on April 2.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened around 1:19 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 27-year-old man was returning carts to the store at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an 83-year-old Loveland woman driving a 2016 Chevrolet sedan struck him.
 
As a result, the incident trapped the victim under the Chevy. Emergency crews attempted rescue efforts but the man later died at the scene.
 
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police.
 
As of now, the Loveland Police Department is investigating the crash.
