Fatal Single Car Crash on Highway 101 in Ukiah
UKIAH, CA (April 11, 2023) – Officers confirmed that three people died in a fiery car crash on Highway 101 on April 4.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Lake Mendocino Drive around 6:12 AM. Based on a report, the victims’ vehicle became on fire after driving off an embankment along the northbound lanes of the Highway 101.
Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies, California Highway Patrol officers, and firefighting personnel converged on the scene.
As a result, officials reported three individuals died at the scene inside the vehicle.
The accident closed one lane of Highway 101 as emergency personnel worked on clearing the scene and investigating the crash.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
