Driver Wanted after Intentionally Hitting Dirt Bike in Fatal Houston Accident

 
HOUSTON, TX (February 23, 2023) Houston police confirmed that a 16-year-old boy died in a dirt bike accident in the 1800 block of Airport Boulevard on February 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Almeda Road around 1:45 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim and another man were on a dirt bike when they had an interaction with the driver of an SUV prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, the SUV struck the bike and fled away from the scene.
 
As a result, the teen suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officers did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Crews transported the other rider to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
As of now, police are working on finding the dark-colored SUV. In addition, they ask anyone with information to contact them.
