Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Motorcycle on Bonanza Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 23, 2023) Las Vegas Police confirmed that a motorcycle struck and killed a pedestrian in an accident on Bonanza Road on February 20.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened east of City Parkway just before 6:00 PM. Officials stated that a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R was traveling eastbound in the left-most travel lane, passing City Parkway.
 
Police say the 29-year-old female pedestrian was crossing Bonanza Road outside of a marked crosswalk east of City Parkway.
 
Soon after, the front of the Suzuki struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result, the woman suffered life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported the victim to University Medical Center Trauma, where she later died.
 
Police said motorcycle rider remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
