AUSTIN, TX (February 23, 2023) – The Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed that one person died in a crash on East Anderson Lane on February 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Cameron Road around 8:20 AM. Based on a report, three vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
The Austin Fire Department responded and did not yet release details about what led to the fatal pile-up.
 
Medics said the crash ejected one person from their vehicle. As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Crews also transported another person to a nearby hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. Then, they brought a second person to the same hospital also with potentially serious injuries.
 
As of now, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
