Ronald Swindle Killed in Modesto Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

 
MODESTO, CA (February 14, 2023) – 68-year-old Ronald Swindle was killed in a hit-and-run on Yosemite Boulevard and Santa Ana Avenue on February 8.

According to the Modesto police, the fatal collision happened just before 7:00 a.m. Based on a report, the pedestrian – identified as Swindle – crossed the street when a vehicle struck him.

Swindle sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The involved driver did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene before authorities arrived. The vehicle was last seen heading west on Yosemite Boulevard.

There is no released information about the vehicle as of now. Officials will continue their investigation at this point.
