One Killed in Car Accident on Cabana Drive at Desert Inn Road [Las Vegas, NV]

Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on Cabana Drive in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 1, 2023) – The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a car accident on Cabana Drive on January 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Desert Inn Road around 12:38 PM. Based on a report, a 2021 Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on Cabana in the single southbound travel lane prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2020 Toyota Highlander was traveling northbound in the single northbound travel lane. Due to unknown reasons, the Corolla entered the northbound lane and struck the left front of the Highlander.
 
As a result, the driver of the Corolla was transported to Sunrise Hospital by ambulance, where he died.
 
All occupants of the Highlander sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported the victims to Sunrise Hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
