Lester Caril Killed, Isaiha Caril-Hill Identified in Fatal Father-Son Incident on Highway 68 in Golden Valley

 
GOLDEN VALLEY, AZ (January 24, 2023) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office identified 68-year-old Lester Caril as the victim who died in an accident on Highway 68 on January 14.
 
Based on a report, troopers initially responded to the scene and found Caril down on the roadway. A video showed a vehicle hitting the victim and driving away from the scene.
 
Around 6:30 PM, deputies responded to the area of Abrigo Drive and Egar Road where a black SUV rolled over. According to law enforcement, the SUV belonged to Caril. They identified the victim’s son, 23-year-old Isaiha Boregard Caril-Hill as its driver.
 
During interviews, Caril-Hill admitted hitting his dad with the vehicle and driving off, before the rollover crash occurred.
 
As a result, officers arrested and charged Caril-Hill with first degree murder per domestic violence, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon per domestic violence and leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
