William Baxter Jr. and Kristie Baxter Identified in Fatal Las Vegas Hit-and-Run, Mykael Terrell Arrested

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 4, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police identified 44-year-old William Baxter Jr. and 51-year-old Kristie Baxter as the victims of a hit-and-run on 4th Street on December 28.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened near Fremont Street around 7:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, William and Kristie were attempting to cross 4th against a don’t cross pedestrian signal at the time of the crash. At that point, Mykael Terrell struck the victims and left in his SUV.
 
As a result, William was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics transported Kristie to University Medical Center, where she later died.
 
Later on, police located and arrested Terrell for DUI and hit-and-run charges.
 
At this point, the investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
