Paradise Pedestrian Accident on Pecos Road
PARADISE, NV (January 5, 2023) – Metro police confirmed that a man suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on South Pecos Road on December 25.
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at East Desert Inn Road. Based on a report, a 2013 Nissan Altima was traveling westbound on East Desert Road prior to the crash.
At the same time, the pedestrian was traveling north on the road outside of a marked crosswalk. As the pedestrian entered the path of the Nissan, the vehicle hit him.
As a result, emergency crews said the victim suffered a possible head injury. Emergency crews transported the victim to Sunrise Hospital’s Trauma Center, where he remained in critical condition.
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
At this point, the investigation is still ongoing.
