Helicopter Makes Hard Landing at Boulder City Municipal Airport

 
BOULDER CITY, NV (January 5, 2023) – Boulder City police confirmed that seven people were hurt in a helicopter accident at the Boulder City Municipal Airport on December 27.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, the victims were in an Airbus Helicopter EC130 T2 returning from a routine trip to the national park following a tour of the Grand Canyon.
 
At some point, the pilot made a hard landing at the airport.
 
As a result, the pilot and six passengers were injured in the landing. Emergency crews took four people to Sunrise Hospital and Siena Hospital for treatment.
