Helicopter Makes Hard Landing at Boulder City Municipal Airport

 
BOULDER CITY, NV (January 5, 2023) Boulder City police confirmed that seven people were hurt in a helicopter accident at the Boulder City Municipal Airport on December 27.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, the victims were in an Airbus Helicopter EC130 T2 returning from a routine trip to the national park following a tour of the Grand Canyon.
 
At some point, the pilot made a hard landing at the airport.
 
As a result, the pilot and six passengers were injured in the landing. Emergency crews took four people to Sunrise Hospital and Siena Hospital for treatment.
 
At this point, the investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
