Brandon Quismorio Killed, Gregory Dooley Arrested after San Mateo County Car Crash

 
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA (December 19, 2022) – Gregory James Dooley is facing charges after a suspected DUI crash that killed Brandon Quismorio on Highway 92 Saturday, December 10.

The California Highway Patrol officers that were in the Redwood City area responded at around 11:45 p.m. Based on reports, a collision involving two vehicles happened at the eastbound lane of Highway 92.

33-year-old Quismorio was driving his silver Infiniti G35 when it initially crashed with a black Hyundai Elantra. After that, both vehicles were halted on the number 2 and 3 lanes.

Quismorio got off his vehicle after the initial crash. Soon after, a black Cadillac Escalade hit him. Authorities identified the involved driver as 45-year-old Dooley of Newman.

Authorities said Quismoro suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

Responders transported Dooley and his passenger to a hospital with major injuries. The passenger was later identified as Sally Dooley.

Dooley is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence.

Authorities shut down the east heading lanes of San Mateo-Hayward Bridge on Highway 92 while the investigation continued.
