Stephanie Mullen Identified in Fatal Crash on 182 Freeway in Richland

 
RICHLAND, WA (December 7, 2022) Richland police identified 40-year-old Stephanie Hall Mullen of Benton City as the victim who died in a car crash on 182 Freeway on November 22.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 4:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, Mullen was heading west on the freeway at the time of the crash. Due to icy road conditions, she lost control of her Nissan Xterra and it rolled through the median. Subsequently, it went across the eastbound lanes before it ended up on the right shoulder.
 
As a result, she died at the scene.
 
The state patrol said the crash was caused by her driving too fast for the freezing rain weather conditions.
