2 Die after Fresno County Crash on Kamm Avenue and Jameson Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 16, 2022) — Two people died following a two-vehicle crash on Kamm Avenue and Jameson Avenue on Monday morning, November 14.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred at around 7:00 a.m. and involved a Toyota Camry and a big rig.

Authorities said the big rig traveled north on Jameson Avenue approaching the intersection when it failed to come to a stop at a stop sign. As a result, the big rig slammed into the Camry, causing both vehicles to overturn.

The driver of the Camry died at the scene.

Respondents also pronounced one of the two occupants of the big rig deceased at the scene.

Meanwhile, the other person in the truck received transportation to the Community Regional Medical Center.

The crash also caused leakage of diesel fuel, prompting officials to call a hazardous material crew.

No other information is made available at this time. However, an investigation is still ongoing.
