Anthony Loaiza Dies after Palmdale Motorcycle Crash on Avenue O

PALMDALE, CA (October 27, 2022)Anthony Loaiza died following a motorcycle crash on East Avenue O on Monday morning, October 24.

The fatal collision occurred east of 170th Street East, according to a California Highway Patrol which received an incident report at around 5:30 a.m. It involved a 2004 Honda motorcycle and a 2011 Subaru.

Authorities said the Honda, driven by 35-year-old Loaiza of Palmdale, made an exit to westbound Avenue O from a Chevron gas station.

The motorcycle then turned right, ending up into the path of the Subaru being operated 27-year-old Deysi Y. Monge.

The force of impact caused Loaiza to eject from the Honda, resulting to his death at the scene.

Meanwhile, Monge was not injured.

The CHP suspected that the influence of alcohol and/or drugs did not appear as a factor in the collision. However, the circumstances behind the crash remain under investigation.

To that end, officials are encouraging anyone with information to contact Officer Dehaven at the Antelope Valley CHP Office at 661-948-8541.
