Two Female Drivers Killed in Head-On Crash on California City and Yerba Boulevards

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 10, 2022) – Airam Betzay Delgado Martinez and Inez Figueroa-Villegas died in a head-on crash on California City and Yerba boulevards on October 1.

The California City Police Department responded at about 6:15 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 2017 Chevrolet and a 2021 Toyota. According to initial reports, the vehicles crashed into each other head-on.

22-year-old Martinez of Palmdale and 66-year-old Figueroa-Villegas of California City were occupying the involved vehicles.

The impact of the crash killed both of the drivers at the scene, police said.

Another unidentified person was rushed to a hospital with unknown injuries.
