Patricia Garrett Arrested for DUI Near Parsons Avenue and Gerard Avenue

 
MERCED, CA (October 10, 2022)Patricia Garrett injured three people after alleged DUI near Parsons and Gerard Avenues on September 30.

The Merced Police Department responded to a head-on crash in the area of Gerard Avenue and Parsons Avenue at around 10:00 a.m.

An adult with two minors was occupying one of the vehicles while 24-year-old Garrett was driving the other.

According to reports, Garrett veered into the other lane where she crashed head-on into the oncoming vehicle.

The reason for her change of direction is still being investigated. However, Garrett was found under the influence of fentanyl at the scene.

The authorities also found the three involved people with serious injuries and transported them to a local hospital to get medical treatment.

Garrett was also sent to a hospital with injuries. She was later arrested for DUI causing injury and other charges.
