REDDING,CA (September 30, 2022) – Police arrested 33-year-old Alicia Balch following an accident on Cypress Avenue on September 28.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Churn Creek Road around 6:10 AM.
 
Based on a report, Balch was driving east on Cypress Avenue at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle traveling north on Churn Creek Road.
 
As a result, Balch and the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in the incident.
 
In addition, the crash also damaged a light pole in the area.
 
The Redding Police Department arrested Balch and booked her into the Shasta County Jail for DUI and driving with a suspended license.
