Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 242 at Willow Pass Road in Concord

 
CONCORD,CA (September 30, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of a man following a motorcycle accident on Highway 242 on September 27.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Willow Pass Road around 11:12 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was traveling in a black Harley Davidson on the southbound lane of the highway at the time of the crash. Behind it was a black Toyota Highlander. Due to unknown reasons, the Toyota rear-ended the Harley Davidson, ejecting the rider from the motorcycle.
 
As a result, the rider suffered severe injuries in the incident. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver of the Toyota was not hurt in the crash.
